Point Beach State Forest
On the sandy shore of Lake Michigan, Point Beach State Park is a fascinating place to walk, enjoy the sound of the waves and let the family do some beach combing or castle building.
Point Beach offers 2,900 acres of forest and beach, including six miles of shoreline. Recreational options include camping, hiking, biking and skiing. Explore on your own on the half-mile self-guided nature trail. The snowmobile trails are also a favorite wintertime activity.
Point Beach campground is open year round. Pack the tent or load the camper and spend the weekend on one of the campground’s 127 family campsites. Traveling with a group? Reserve the indoor group cabin or outdoor group site. This area is truly a slice of paradise in Northeast Wisconsin.
