It may be a bit redundantly named, but Fall Creek Falls' nomenclature give an idea of its claim to fame. This 12,500-acre park boasts the U.S.'s highest free-fall waterfall east of the Mississippi, with a drop of 126 feet. Set in Cane Creek Gorge, the park is a testament to the spectacular beauty of middle Tennesse, with five other waterfalls and incredible views from its mountain overlooks.
