Selba's focus is on fresh, natural ingredients from local and regional farmers. Attention is paid to vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. The garden room in the back is truly a gem. Really there’s no reason to ever sit anywhere else. Surrounded on all sides by a deep garden perimeter, stained glass lamps hang from the ceiling to illuminate the space at night. Previously the space was a car shop, so the sunshine streaming in the big garage windows during the day is a nice reuse. Free range eggs, ham biscuits, baked brie and house made granola are for those feeling fancy but shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles show that this new kid on the block doesn’t take itself too seriously.
