Bar-X is Salt Lake City's oldest destination spot for great wine and cocktails. They are still at their original location, and use the same recipes as they did when they first opened their doors in 1933. Their cocktails are made using a blend of fresh juices and quality liquors. Bar X was recently purchased by Modern Family star Ty Burrell, who resides in Salt Lake City. Their more popular drinks include their Boston Sour, which consists of bourbon whiskey, lemon and lime juice, sugar, and angostura bitters, as well as their Gin Gin Mule, consisting of dry gin, lime juice, sugar, mint, and ginger beer. With their newly opened back room, this is the perfect place to unwind after a hard day at work, or plan a bachelorette party.
