The Way of Lights at Our Lady of the Snows

Just a short jaunt from St. Louis down Route 15, the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows shrine transforms itself every holiday season into a stunning light display like no other. The Way of Lights is a mile-and-a-half drive glowing with more than 1.7 million lights, as well as electro art displays and statues. They all work together to tell the story of the journey to Bethlehem and the birth of Christ. The exhibit is free, although donations are appreciated. Fridays and Saturdays are the most crowded, so to avoid the line of cars, plan your excursion during the week shortly after nightfall.
