Inline skating is huge in Chicago! The Chicago branch of the National Skate Patrol leads weekly "road raves" around Chicago and offers a fantastic way to explore Chicago streets, culture and history. Meet them the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month at 7:30pm to experience a whole new type of workout.

Burn calories while perfecting the art of cross country skiing on the nearly four miles of groomed trails in this beautiful nature preserve. Paddle the architectural canyons of the Chicago River and learn the history of Chicago including why it was built where it is. You can kayak through the looming skyscrapers, see Al Capone's secret hideout and more. This is a great, fun workout and no experience needed.
