Bay Beach Amusement Park

Each year thousands of families flock to Bay Beach Amusement Park for some memory making. Parents appreciate the amusement park because they can entertain the kids on a budget.

The history of the park dates back over 110 years. It has grown but the price for rides doesn’t match the steep rates expected in today’s world. With sixteen rides charging only one or two tickets that sell for a quarter apiece, Bay Beach has inexpensive thrills for all ages. Tiny boats, racing cars and flying helicopters will make little ones squeal while older kids decide between rides like the Scrambler and Yo-Yo. The Zippin Pippin is Bay Beach’s newest attraction – plans for Elvis Presley’s favorite ride were bought and constructed in Green Bay.

Stop the kids from spinning before packing them in the car. Let them run around the playground for some old-fashion fun.

Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame

The Green Bay Packers honor the legends of Lambeau with a 25,000-square-foot space dedicated to keep the green and gold history alive. Bring your Packer fans on a tour of this remarkable memorial of nearly 95 years of football.

Relive the most exciting Packer moments. See 80 exhibits including the team’s Super Bowl trophies, re-creation of Vince Lombardi’s office and countless videos of the greatest of the game. Learn about the 147 individuals that have been inducted into the Packer Hall of Fame since 1970.

After marveling at the display, explore around Lambeau. Grab lunch in Curly’s Pub. Load a game card and let the kids play a few interactive video games. Shop at the Packer Pro Shop – don’t leave Packer town without your own green and gold apparel.

N.E.W. Zoo

A visit to the Northeast Wisconsin (N.E.W.) Zoo is a special treat for both locals and visitors. The zoo appeals to those young and old hoping to get a close look at the mighty lions, playful monkeys, amusing otters and noisy Trumpeter Swans.

Bring a few dollars for an opportunity to feed the animals. Buy crackers for the giraffes and you’ll have these tall creatures eating out of your hands. Show your handful of food in the petting area and you’ll be instant friends with the zoo’s many goats and sheep.

Take a quick tour of the zoo with a ride on the safari train or let the kids ride on the realistic animals on the merry-go-round. Open 365 days a year, no matter when you are in the area, the N.E.W. Zoo invites you to stop by.

Bordered by the Bay of Green Bay and split by the Fox River, a ride along the water is a fabulous way to take in Green Bay’s charm. Book a ride on Foxy Lady Cruises and get a rare glimpse of what makes the city great.

Or let Foxy Lady Cruises feed the family as you float along. The two-hour lunch cruise is also narrated. Dine on a chicken salad sandwich, chips, potato salad and cookies. This experience is one the family won’t soon forget.
