Sturgeon Bay Fireworks

Sturgeon Bay celebrates the birthday of our country’s independence every Fourth of July at Sunset Park. Come to the park around dinnertime and feast on burgers or brats; treat yourself and join in the ice cream social. After all bellies are full, set the kids free. Bounce houses and a handful of games will keep them entertained for hours.

Patriotic music can be heard throughout the grounds all evening. Finally, at dusk, fireworks will fill the sky. Those at Sunset Park can enjoy the special soundtrack with music choreographed to the fireworks. Or, take in the show away from the park – you can get a spectacular view of the fireworks from all around the bay.

Fire Over the Fox

Make the most of a day off work. Festival Foods Fire Over the Fox is a daylong celebration of our nation's independence. On July 4th, a several block radius around downtown Green Bay lures singles, couples and families to the city because of the entertainment, food and fun offered.

The event officially kick-off at 1 p.m. with a Liberty Bell Ringing and Veteran Salute at the Brown County Courthouse. Stroll around to the different stages that are set up on Washington and Main Street, which feature national artists. Children’s rides and ski shows on the Fox River make the afternoon family-friendly. Excitement builds as the crowd waits for the big bang – a brilliant fireworks display set to music usually begins around 9:45 p.m.

Festival Foods Fireworks in Appleton

Why wait until the Fourth of July to begin celebrating? Appleton gets a jump-start on the holiday with a fireworks display at Appleton Memorial Park on July 3rd. Come early for the best seats.

Associated Bank presents this annual Festival Foods Fireworks show. The festivities begin at 5 p.m. Bands perform in the park until dark. Listen to the music while enjoying Wisconsin summer fare. A children’s area keeps young ones occupied until the sky gets dark enough for the evening’s best fireworks display. Not up for crowds? If you’re near Appleton look up to the sky at 9:20 p.m. and chances are you’ll still see quite an impressive fireworks display.

Celebrate De Pere

Fireworks at Celebrate De Pere are not only to commemorate our country’s independence but to mark another year in the city’s history. Celebrate De Pere began over 20 years ago to observe the city’s 100th anniversary and it has grown to be a much-anticipated outdoor event that kicks-off summer.

Celebrate De Pere is held every Memorial Day weekend. De Pere residents and people from surrounding areas come and hang out at Voyageur Park to take in the live music, family-friendly shows and amazing Redneck Regetta homemade boat race on the Fox River. The festivities begin on Friday night but those longing for fireworks have to wait until Sunday evening. A five-star fireworks show is held at dusk. Come to the park grounds or park on downtown city streets for the best view.

Beer Belly Two and Suamico Firefighter's Picnic

The Suamico Firefighter’s Annual Picnic is a traditional Northeast Wisconsin picnic – there is fair food, kiddie games and plenty of beer for adults.

The event takes place every year in late June at Idlewild Park in Suamico. The fun begins with an organized walk/run known as the Beer Belly Two Walk and Run. Participants lace up their athletic shoes and run through the village streets while spectators cheer them on. The race ends on the picnic grounds and all are ready to cheers to a job well done. The afternoon entertainment includes live music and water fights. The evening ends with a bang as fireworks light up the sky.

The Suamico Firefighter’s Annual Picnic was created to bring the community together. Proceeds from the event benefit local charities.
