Replay on 19th

If you are tired of the jumbled, unorganized vintage shops, head to Replay on 19th, where you'll find clothing, shoes, hats, jewelry and other accessories arranged thematically. Whether you are looking for Victorian dresses, 70s jumpsuits or Hawaiian shirts, you'll find a fabulous selection on Replay on 19th. If you are looking for a handbag, you've come to the right place. They have over 1,000 vintage purses  -- from silk clutches to ostrich skin satchels. In addition to the the clothing, they also have some funky, kitschy home decor that is sure to liven up your place. For antique furniture in Houston, visit Reeve Antiques in Montrose. Operated by a father-son team, this shop features mostly mid-century pieces and you'll be pleasantly surprised by their reasonable prices. At Reeves Antiques, you'll find top brands you know and trust like Broyhill, Heywood-Wakefield and Ethan Allen, as well as high quality items from little-known local artisans. The inventory is ever-changing so if you are looking for something in particular, check back often. If they don't have what you want today, it doesn't mean it won't be here tomorrow. Urban Soles Outpost

For comfortable, quality shoes and a friendly atmosphere, you can't beat Urban Soles Outpost in Houston. Here, you'll find a wide selection of footwear, from hiking boots to sandals. This store offers a really special shopping experience. Unlike other shoe stores, it feels and looks like a living room. Don't expect any steel benches and unflattering mirrors here -- just a low-key place where you can slow down and chat a while. The staff is very knowledgeable about the inventory and more than happy to help you find the perfect pair of shoes for walking, hiking, traveling or whatever else you do. Owned and operated by Inge Feagin and Shannon Riley, this is the only independently owned shoe store in the Heights area. Owned and operated by fashion designer and Project Runway season two winner Chloe Dao, this Houston boutique offers trendy, contemporary clothing from her line -- DAO Chloe DAO -- as well as pieces from many other designers. From slinky cocktail dresses to adorable shoes, the selection at this store is geared toward the young, fashion-forward crowd. However, you can also find sophisticated, classic pieces as well. If you have a special party or event coming up, Lot 8 is a fabulous place to shop. The staff is very helpful and though some of the prices are steep, you can find some real designer bargains on sale.
