Take your workout to the waters of Key Biscayne. Sailboards Miami offers instruction in windsurfing, kayaking, SUP (stand-up paddle boarding), and kiteboarding. Ever thought about running away and joining the circus? Well, you can experience a bit of that dream without giving up your already fab reality by enrolling at the South Florida Circus Arts School. Classes for adults and children offer instruction in aerial fitness, flying yoga, trapeze, lyra (known as the aerial hoop), acrobatics and contortion. Even if you ultimately decide not to ditch your business suit for a sequin-covered leotard full time, you’ll get an amazing workout that pushes your presumed  limits, tones muscles you never knew you had and makes for quite the conversation starter, too.

Why, oh why would you want to revisit the angst of middle school - unless, of course, you can do it on eight wheels? Come on, you know you had a blast at the local roller rink. So call up a few of your old friends and head to Super Wheels Skating Center for a Monday night adult skating session. Five giant HT TVs, a slammin’ sound system with a slate of nearly a half-million songs and traditional quad or inline skate rentals make for a fun night spent burning calories, toning muscles and hanging with friends.

Nothing makes a muscle happy like a good, steady run. Miami Runners Club members are running enthusiasts of all levels – from the beginner eyeing her first one-mile race to the seasoned marathon winner. Coaches are experienced long distance runners and sports physical therapists. Classes range from a walk/run workout perfect for teaching beginners the basics of stretching, pacing, proper running techniques and use of a heart rate monitor to a marathon training class focused on readying you for the next big race.
