Stop by Menchies Frozen Yogurt located next door to the theater after the show and create your own dessert masterpiece with toppings galore. Pay by the ounce!

Lake Eola Park

Take a stroll, have a picnic, cruise the lake on a giant swan or play on the ultra modern playground, there is fun for everyone in the center of downtown Orlando at Lake Eola Park. Out-of-towners blend in with the local community at the numerous cultural events and concerts hosted at the Walt Disney Ampitheater located at the west end of the lake. Many downtown restaurants and cafes are within walking distance of the lake, but the Relax Grill is located right off the walking path with large cooling fans and a great food selection. Best time of day to visit the park is early morning or when the sun is falling below the city skyline.

Kids Town is a fan favorite where kids can build dams at the oversized water table, play mechanic in the Super Service Center, or pick and sort oranges at the Orange Grove Factory. Journey to the top of the highest mountain or to the bottom of the sea at the Dr. Philips Cinedome showing movies on the giant 8,000 square foot screen. Learn about dinosaurs of the past and explore bits and pieces of Orlando's science history. Exhibits switch our regularly so check the website for the most updated information.

The Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour is a one-hour excursion through 12 miles of lakes and canals less than ten minutes from downtown Orlando in historic Winter Park. Passengers aboard the boat have a waterside view of Rollins College, Kraft Azalea Gardens, Isle of Sicily and the many magnificent mansions that sit on the water's edge. The skippers who run these tours are beyond knowledgable about the area's flora, fauna and history. Kids will love navigating through the narrow canals and the often humorous narrations from the skippers. The tour is five minutes walking distance from Park Avenue, Orlando's popular upscale dining and shopping district.

WonderWorks

Kids who love to explore the unusual and unexplained will love the WonderWorks Museum located on International Drive in the heart of the Orlando tourist district. Lots of head scratching can be expected with over 100 interactive exhibits.
