Baby's Day Out in San Francisco, CA
You won't need much more than the rooftop at Yerba Buena Gardens in downtown San Francisco -- it has everything to keep you busy and happy for a day out with your little one. Hidden on top of Moscone Center, the gardens is a santuary within the hustle and bustle of the city madness and you're never going to believe all that there is to do up there. From the carousel to the Esplanade (they call it the "front law of San Francisco") to the waterfalls and fountains, to the children's museum to the park, we're pretty sure that you're going to wear baby out... and likely wear yourself out too!
Looking for a spot for the perfect picnic spot for a day out with your little cutie pie? There's no place more gorgeous and serene than the Japanese Tea Garden at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Go first thing in the morning (admission is free before 10 a.m.), bring your picnic basket and a blanket to sit on and a stroller for pushing your little one around. It's so fun to wander through this well-kept garden -- over the little bridges and between the perfectly-manicured trees. And for new walkers, they'll love all of the nice paths to practice their steps along! Children ages four and under are free.
