Lemp Grand Hall

In St. Louis, many have heard of the Lemp Mansion—likely because of its reputation as a paranormal hotspot—but a better-kept secret is its sister venue, the Lemp Grand Hall. Owned and operated by the Pointer family since 1975, the Lemp properties share a history rife with storybook qualities. This charm is evident in every facet of the Lemp Grand Hall. An elevator attendant ushers guests to the top floor in an old-school antique lift elevator. From the moment they step out, your guests will be enthralled by the expansive space and rustic décor—including original maple hardwood floors and a massive fireplace. An outdoor deck offers a splendid view of historic Soulard and the Lemp brewery tower. The venue owns its own parking lot, so you won’t have to worry about guests walking too far.

Missouri Botanical Garden

What better setting for your big day than one of the most beautiful gardens in the world? The Missouri Botanical Garden offers an array of gorgeous, idyllic settings that will take you breath away. Stone gazebos, tented pavilions, a butterfly garden, a serene lakefront deck…the word “picturesque” can hardly do them justice. You may choose to have your wedding ceremony and reception at the Garden, or just the reception. Located southwest of downtown St. Louis, it’s centrally located and easily accessible should you choose to have your ceremony at another local site. Those looking for a truly “green” wedding will be thrilled to know that the Sassafras restaurant is the first certified green restaurant in the state of Missouri. Whether you choose the Garden as your site or not, it’s well worth the time to check out this renowned spectacle of fragrance and color.

Third Degree Glass Factory

Some couples register for drinking glasses. Others have their guests blow their own during the wedding reception. At least, that’s what goes down at Third Degree Glass Factory. More than a far cry from your typical run-of-the-mill private party venue, this gallery is perfect for those seeking a reception with just a little more kick. The open-plan 7000+ square foot facility can accommodate 250 guests for a seated dinner and 500 for a cocktail reception. Beverage service is in-house, but the choice of caterer is up to you. One thing is for certain: people will be talking about your event for years to come.

The Lumen

If you’ve ever cruised down Locust on a weekend night and seen a gleaming square beacon of dazzling color, much like a loft-contained lightshow, chances are you’ve driven past the Lumen. This architecturally stunning event space features dramatic hardwood floors and floor-to-ceiling windows brought to life in vivid color by a state-of-the-art customizable LED lighting system. The modern bar décor is simply stunning and features built-in flat screen TVs. The Lumen is brought to life by the creators of noted St. Louis night life hotspots Mike Shannon’s, Pepper Lounge and Mandarin. In fact, Pepper Lounge is a short walk away, providing the ideal after-party spot for your guests. Just be sure to keep the parking secure.

The Palladium

Exciting, vibrant, historical yet contemporary, The Palladium is a colorful addition to downtown St. Louis wedding venue option. This distinctive private event space had a dubious beginning: it was the laundry building for the neighboring City Hospital, which has since been converted into breathtaking upscale loft living spaces. The Palladium’s conversion is complete, too, and its consistent rankings as a top St. Louis venues confirms its success. The building has been restored completely, yet preserves many of the original elements, like the wood ceiling and metal trusswork. The Palladium is cleverly designed with a floating mezzanine and movable scenes, allowing for limitless configurations. Secure, onsite parking is provided.
